Did you know?

Consuming combinations of foods and beverages at the same time affects both absorption, efficacy and elimination.

Examples:
 - Drink a glass of orange juice at breakfast, have coffee afterwards within an hour and you might just as well have thrown the orange juice into the toilet as the coffee blocks the absorption of the vitamin C found in the orange juice.  Tea has the same effect.

 - Any variety or varieties of Melon should only ever be eaten on their own....

 - No fruit should be eaten within 1 hour, at least, of any other food....

- Unlevened bread i.e. chapati blocks the absorption of certain minerals and can be a high contributing factor to osteomalacia which is the adult form of rickets (bowlegged).
